The judges are professionals who come from various business backgrounds and include experienced investors (angels, venture capitalists, and investment bankers), experienced and successful entrepreneurs and senior business people and service professionals who interact with early stage companies. The judges consider specific criteria when evaluating ideas/ concept papers/ business models. However ultimately, winning teams usually have edge over the others mainly in the following factors:

Ideas/ Startups which have scalability and Impact would be considered for funding by Native Angels Network, first region specific Angel Investment Network.

Confederation of Indian Industry
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes. CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization, playing a proactive role in India's development process. Founded in 1895, India's premier business association has over 8,500 members, from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 200,000 enterprises from around 250 national and regional sectoral industry bodies.
Young Indians (Yi)
Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process. Yi was formed in the year 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. Yi has around 2010 direct members in 40 chapters and engages around 10500 students through chaupals, under the brand ‘Yuva’. The Yi membership includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21 and 40 and comprises of various entrepreneurs.

TBI @ KEC, a very unique and first of its kind facility in India, was established in 2003 by Kongu Engineering College (KEC) with the grant-in-aid and support of NSTEDB/ Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India at a total project outlay of Rs.3.95 Crore for nurturing startups and entrepreneurship development in cutting edge Science and Technology areas. TBI@KEC provides total support to the incubatees right from concept to commercialization under various stages which include project formulation, mentoring, financial assistance, coworking space and infrastructure support. TBI@KEC has incubated 55 entrepreneurs from Erode, Coimbatore, Chennai and Bangalore. 76 products have been launched so far benefitting various sectors of economy and society (two products for export). TBI@KEC received Seed fund/grant of Rs.476.28 lakh from NSTEDB, TDB and MSME and provided financial support in the form of soft loan/ grant to 26 deserving Incubatees' projects as on date. Recently, TBI@KEC has got approval of Rs.7 crore under NIDHI-PRAYAS Scheme from NSTEDB, specifically to support young innovators turn their ideas into prototype. TBI@KEC won the coveted National Award for the best TBI in the country for the year 2012 in recognition of its consistently good performance. The award, instituted by DST/GoI, was presented to TBI@KEC by the President of India on the Technology Day on 11th May 2013.
